How we measure that learning actually happens
The activities we offer follow a theme that changes every two weeks — feelings, animals, outer space, transport, the body, weather. Each theme has detailed vocabulary, grammar structures, art and sport objectives tailored to age and English proficiency.
Each child has an individual development plan, assessed by the teaching team twice a year (mid-year and end-of-year). Areas tracked: vocabulary, oral and written language skills, social and emotional development, motor skills, mathematics readiness.
Twice-yearly reports are shared with the family in a 1:1 meeting — not generic checklists, but a written narrative on your child's specific progress, strengths and areas where we are focusing next. Plus a portfolio of work to take home.
We've been at Krasnoludki for 3 years with both our children. What we value most is the Positive Discipline approach and having therapists available on-site.

Childcare Specialist
She began her work with children in nurseries and kindergartens over a dozen years ago. What she values most is the opportunity to accompany children during the most important moments of their development and to build a relationship based on trust and a sense of safety. Working with children gives her enormous satisfaction, because the awareness of being the person around whom they feel safe is a tremendous motivation to act. In her daily work with toddlers (ages 1–3) in the nursery group she draws on elements of the Sherborne Developmental Movement, the Orff method and Bajkoterapia (story therapy) — together with her teammates, in the spirit of Positive Discipline that guides our whole facility in Saska Kępa. Privately, she is interested in music, which she gladly uses in her daily work. Every day they develop hearing, a sense of rhythm and physical agility. Listening to various pieces builds emotional intelligence. Nothing brings people together like dancing and singing together, which build a sense of safety and a bond within the group. "The joy of the children every morning and the smiles with which they greet me are proof that my work has meaning."
